AI TALK: A.I. & Machine Learning applications within continuous integration at Volvo Car Corporation

One of today's challenges within the automotive industry is the exponentially increasing complexity of vehicles in the form of functionality, from integrated cloud services to autonomous driving, resulting in complex and distributed systems and software solutions.

The CI and test system section within electrical department at VCC is responsible for the setup complete test system in the form of SIL/MIL/HIL (Software/model/Hardware in the loop which is part of development practices, combining virtual modelling, simulation together with real Hardware for efficient verification) and CI tool chain for development of new car platforms.

Through this presentation I will share how we at CI teams used A.I. & Machine Learning to make analysis and testing more efficient as well as what challenges lie ahead of us.
