Collaboration

Cooperating with the surrounding society is one of the department's most important tasks and a central part of all our staff's work.

Through collaboration with different types of media, such as radio, television, newspapers, podcasts and social media, we ensure that our research on digitization is in the middle of the debate and reaches the surrounding society. We are visible at conferences and events with companies, organizations and other authorities.

In our education, we collaborate by bringing in guest lectures in teaching from both the business community and from municipalities and civil society. Our students are also given the opportunity to work and do internships within companies and authorities through established contacts.

Further collaboration takes place with other universities, both nationally and internationally, and through popular science events such as the International Science Festival.

Other examples of partners: Ericsson, Volvo, Västra Götalandsregionen, The Museum of World Culture, AstraZeneca, The Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency and the Swedish police.
