[8 Dec 2016] Fateme Saadatmand is a half-time PhD at the Division of Informatics at the Department of Applied IT, and has been accepted to ICIS DC (International Conference in Information Systems Doctoral Consortium) which will be held Dec 7-9 2016 in Dublin, Ireland. This is one of the most competitive DC in her field (Information Systems) that accepts 40 students worldwide every year. She is the only one accepted from Sweden and one of the two from Scandinavia.

[7 Nov 2016] Two new Master´s Programme are now open for international applicants. The programmes are Game Design & Technology and Digital Leadership.
[17 Oct 2016] We want to both question and explore the idea of robotic support in relation to human needs and everyday practices. The research is characterised by participatory design and design approaches such as co-creation, studies, sketching and storytelling to understand users and different stakeholders perspectives, needs and desires. Our research results may both question and inform robotic solutions and other solutions.
[20 Sep 2016] The NordiCHI biennial conference is the main Nordic forum for Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) research and a meeting place for researchers from academia and industry, designers, practitioners, educators and others from a broad range of traditions and communities. NordicCHI'16 in Gothenburg is arranged by the Department of Applied Information Technology. Registration closes on Oct 22.
[29 Aug 2016] Wallenberg Autonomous Systems Program (WASP) is Sweden¿s largest individual research program ever, and provides a platform for academic research and education, fostering interaction with Sweden¿s leading technology companies. The program addresses research on autonomous systems acting in collaboration with humans, adapting to their environment through sensors, information and knowledge, and forming intelligent systems of systems. Software is the main enabler in autonomous systems, and is an integrated research theme of the program. WASP aims to build a world leading platform for academic research that interacts with leading companies to develop knowledge and competence for the future.
